Deepa Kundur: Home Page

Welcome! I am an Associate Professor in the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department at Texas A&M University. I conduct research and teach in the areas of cyber security of the electric smart grid, cyber-physical system theory, security and privacy of sensor and social networks, connectivity and security of wireless directional link networks, multimedia security and processing, and information forensics.

I currently serve as a member of the NERC Smart Grid Task Force, as vice-chair for the Security Interest Group of the IEEE Multimedia Communications Technical Committee, and am on the IEEE Information Forensics and Security Technical Committee.

The Second IEEE International Conference on Smart Grid Communications (IEEE SmartGridComm 2011) was held in Brussels, Belgium and continued the trend of recognizing timely contributions in the field of smart grid cyber security.

Our collaborative paper, "Switched System Models for Coordinated Cyber-Physical Attack Construction and Simulation" appears in the proceedings.

The 1st International Conference on High Confidence Network Systems (HiCoNS) at CPSWeek 2012 is currently finalizing its Technical Program.

The 14th ACM Workshop on Multimedia and Security is currently accepting papers! Deadline: April 20, 2012.
