Biomedical Imaging and Genomics Signal Processing Group

Program Description:

The Biomedical Imaging group brings together faculty members from a number of different disciplines within Electrical Engineering to focus on the acquisition and analysis of biomedical images. A set of core courses provides the student with a background in both medical imaging instrumentation and image processing and analysis, and elective courses are available in both areas. Laboratories have been established in computer-assisted diagnostics, magnetic resonance imaging and optical imaging.
